Battlefriend 3: Squad 6 Deployed

Authors Note: I wanted to give you all a fic that was a crossover type deal with Battlefield 3. This fic will be focused around Rainbow Dash, but the others will be there as well. Let's get started shall we?

"C'mon you guys! The VR1 gaming console just came out today and we all need to get one" Rainbow Dash said impatiently. She, Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie were walking to Best Bits.

"I don't see what the big deal is too get one. Why do we need to get one again?" Twilight asked the cyan Pegasus.

"We need to get one because it would let us play with thousands of other ponies, not to mention that there is a game out there for it called Battlefriend 3. The game looks amazing and all of the reviews I've seen say it's a blast. Literally!" Rainbow Dash said to them, she was practically bouncing with excitement.

"This is going to be super-duper-everypony-has-a-blast fun! I can't wait to play it!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed happily.

The others finally gave into the peer pressure of getting a new game console and game. Twilight has never played a video game before now, but all of her friends have. So she was hoping that it was worth it.

"Oh my gosh, were almost there! I can't wait to play it! Just so you know, when we all play this game, expect a lot of competition for points. This game is very competitive and ponies will do anything to stay on top, you'll figure it out soon enough" Rainbow Dash said to the others.

They then made their way into the store. They all were sick of the endless waiting and impatience. They all walked up to the counter and Rainbow Dash went first.

"Hi there, I would like to buy a VR1 gaming console and a copy of Battlefriend 3" She said to the stallion behind the counter.

"You have a mighty good eye for entertainment young lady. This system puts you right into the game; it is the best system out there" He pulled out the box for the console and set it on the counter. " You said that you also wanted Battlefriend 3? That game is the fastest selling on the market right now, it has a rating of 10/10 in the books" He pulled the game out of the case behind him and set it on top of the VR1. "That will be 300 bits young lady; I assure you that you will enjoy it."

She tossed him the bits eagerly and took the bag with her things "thanks, see you on the game soon girls. Get ready to get your flanks handed to you." Then she left the store with her bags in tow.

Rainbow Dash flew to her cloud home and set her bag with her things in front of the T.V. Then she got a big smile on her face "I am going to make them so mad, I am going to get a head start on the game before they start playing." Then she took out the VR! From the box and set it down. It looked like a glorified projector, only there were five bands that came with it as well. "Oooohhh I get it, the four smaller bands are for your hooves and the larger one is for your head. Seems legit" she said to herself as she put the bands on.

When the VR1 was hooked up to the T.V. she turned the power button on. "Crap, I forgot to get the glasses out" she walked over to the box and pulled out the glasses. "Here we go!" and then she put them on.

She was in a black room with a bunch of floating monitors all around. A screen floated up to her. She looked at it and it wanted her to fill out various information for her account. When it wanted her to give what her name would be for all of the games she plays she smiled. She touched the screen and began filling it out; when she was done it said 'Equestria's Elite Flyer'. Then the screen accepted the info and floated back over to the others.

Then several screens moved out in front of her, one being the screen to start the game. "Here we go!" she said happily before she pressed the screen. Then she was watching the beginning of the game, getting even more pumped up when she saw the building break behind the pony as it walked up to the front of the screen. "This is so cool!"

She said 'start game' and now she was at a main menu. She looked through the options she had to choose from and she spotted the customize soldier option. She said 'customize soldier' and she was immediately taken to another screen.  

Then she looked over herself "Awesome, This gear is so up to date. She was wearing the EA uniform. Then she looked back at her new options, there were several rows of soldier classes along with showing what weapons are currently equipped.

She chose to be an assault class soldier. When she got the game she also got the physical warfare pack. She saw all of her options, but she decided to choose the KH-2000. She finished getting her class set up and then went back to the main menu.

She was just about to go into the quick play menu, but Twilight and Fluttershy popped into the room with her. "Hey Rainbow, We found you! This is so much fun! The others will be on in a few minutes, but we decided to come and hang with you till they get here" Twilight said to the cyan pegasus.

"Augh, fine" Rainbow Dash said in a huff. She wanted to go get some practice in before they all shown up, but apparently that wasn't going to happen.

A few minutes later Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rarity popped into the black room with them. "Okie dokie lokie, I am ready to start playing now!" Pinkie said with excitement.

"Before we start, do you all have your classes set up? It is going to get rough out there, so you need to be ready before you start to play or else you fall behind" Rainbow Dash said to all of them.

"Ready!" Twilight and the others said to her in reply.

"Ok, then legs go!" Rainbow Dash said as she pushed the panel floating in front of her to start the quick match.

The black room around them dissipated and changed into this wide expanse of land that was full of color. There was a large radio tower in the distance and a small hill that had a smaller tower located on top of it. There was also toll quite a far distance away, and a residential type area to their right.

"Where are we?" Fluttershy said as she stood behind Applejack.

"This is Coltsbian Border! This is the biggest map Battlefriend 3; we are the Equestrian Army team while the other team is the Mareyland Marines. Get ready, it's about to get real intense around here in like 10 seconds flat!" RD said.

Right after she said that five jets flew overhead to signal the start of the match. RD let out a huge grin and got her assault rifle ready. She trotted away and left the others alone. She trotted over to a hill that marked objective C and went into prone under a garage door. "Ok, this is easy, I will just hold off this base and keep those other ponies away from me" Rainbow Dash said as the Equestrian Army flag rose up the pole.

Rainbow Dash heard gear rustling from behind her and got up and walked around to the back of the garage. She saw a pony looking through the scope of a gun and smiled. She ran up to the pony and took out her knife "Eat dirt Noobslayer!" she said out loud before she jabbed the knife right into his chest.

"Ha, I'll see you here in a few minutes for your funeral" Noobslayer said before collapsing on the ground and disappearing.
Rainbow Dash suddenly was hit with a few rounds. She trotted back over to the garage and dived into the room. She tossed out a medkit and lay prone on the ground. She never knew it but Twilight spawned on her and was lying next to her. "Twilight, can you see anypony?"

"No, but I did get a kill with a grenade a few minutes ago. You were right Dash, this game is fun. I guess Fluttershy is doing the best on our team so far, she got like 5 kills with the sniper she was using. I don't even know where she is!" Twilight said to Rainbow Dash happily.

"Twilight, we need to advance. Cover me while I go out and see if I can't get further ahead" Rainbow Dash said before getting up and walking out the doorway. She stopped just outside the door and saw a flashing ball come towards her. "Grenade, Get down!" she yelled. The grenade exploded and Rainbow Dash got thrown back a little bit. She then was hit with a few more rounds and fell to the ground.

"She just don't know what went wrong" A voice said from behind Twilight. Twilight tried to turn around but was stabbed with a knife before she could get a shot out.

Rainbow Dash spawned at objective A and trotted over to a toll booth and hid in it. "I can't believe Derpy killed me….DERPY killed me!" Rainbow Dash said as she peered over the edge of the window. She smiled quickly and pulled up the leaderboards quickly. She was doing better than Pinkie Pie, who only got one kill, but she had more points from either capturing bases or something else. She was far behind Fluttershy though; she had 10 kills to 3 deaths. "Figures the shy one would be a good sniper" Rainbow Dash said with a shake of her head. Their team was winning with 163 tickets to the enemy's 132. She put the menu away and looked over the window again. "Oh hay…" she said as she looked at a tank that was driving up to capture the base.

"Dontcha worry about that meanie tank, I got this" She heard Pinkie say. Pinkie Pie took out an RPG-7 and aimed it at the tank "Say hello to my little friend Mr. Tank!" She fired a round and hit the tank square on and then trotted into the building a little ways away.

Rainbow Dash watched as the muzzle of the RPG came out of a window and another rocket flew towards the tank. She cheered when the tank exploded and trotted over to Pinkie. "Good job, do you think you can handle it here?"

"Eeeyup, go take D, that is the only place we need. I think Fluttershy and Rarity are over near there" Pinkie said before firing another rocket right over Dash's shoulder at a jeep that was coming right to them.

Rainbow Dash nodded and began making her way to objective D. She was taking the side of a road and saw an enemy placing anti-tank mines on the bridge in front of her. "Heh, I got this one easy" She said before she fired a few rounds at a mine that was right next to the pony. She watched as the mine exploded and the pony get sent flying over the edge of the bridge. "Yes, there we go!"

Rainbow Dash made it to the other end of the bridge and started to take fire from somepony. "Where in the hay is it?" she said as she tried to find the pony shooting at her. She heard a loud shot ring out followed by somepony screaming profanity as they got killed. She saw Rarity trot over to her "Hey Rar, I'm here to help you take the base. Let's go, we only have maybe 10 minutes left of the game.

"Ok darling, this place would be simply smashing to have on our side. Lead on" Rarity said to her as they began to trot over to the flag. They went into prone and the counter for the flag quickly switched sides and soon they had control of the base.

"Yes, now they have no base to spawn at. Time to have some fun" Rainbow Dash said before she walked over to a jeep and climbed in. She put her hoof on the gas and started to drive down the road. She saw two enemy soldiers trotting towards the hill and she smiled. "Double road kill incoming!!!" she said happily before she hit both of them.

"ARRRRGGGHHH, WHY WOULD YOU USE A JEEP YOU NOOB!!!" One of the players said.

"YOU ARE SO LUCKY YOU KILLED ME!!!" the other player said.

Rainbow Dash laughed as she watched their bodies fly over the jeep as she passed by. "Oh stop crying you babies. You wish you could get a double road kill" she said to them in reply. She continued to drive and she looked up into the sky and saw a jet flying through the air above her.

She stopped the jeep for a moment and looked at the leaderboard again. She was doing extremely well for her first time playing. She had 6 kills and 1 death. She looked at the score and deduced that the game would be over in a few moments. She put the menu away and took off in the jeep again. She kept looking at the jet that was flying through the air and she saw that it was now flying right at her.

"Oh my Celestia, what in the hay is that jet doing!?" she yelled as the jet flew right down and hit her jeep with dead eye precision. Her jeep blew up along with the jet and the screen went dark. "ARRGH, that stupid jet got last kill….and it was on me!" Rainbow Dash said as she looked at her points.

"Now I have an enemy…..EliteSn1p3r1423, you are going down next game!" Rainbow Dash said as she got her class modified and smiled at the countdown. "Hey everypony, go after EliteSn1p3r1423, he is going to be tough to beat!"

A/N: I hope you liked it! This was just a fun little one shot I did for practice. This was not meant to be taken super literal to Battlefield; I had to add character to it. I hope I did a good representation of it. Leave me comments I love them! See you all soon everyone! Bye!
